About Your Tele-Psych Psychologist

Erin Taylor is a Clinical Psychologist at Tele-Psych, providing online counselling services across Australia. Erin is known by her clients as a warm, caring, and empathetic psychologist, with a down-to-earth and genuine approach.

Erin has a particular interest in supporting clients with anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, drug and alcohol concerns, grief and loss, infertility and IVF-related stress, and psychosomatic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. Having her own lived experience of anxiety, Erin brings a compassionate understanding of what it can feel like to sit on the other side of therapy and want things to feel better.

Erin uses a transtheoretical approach, meaning she draws from a range of evidence-based therapies depending on the client’s individual needs and circumstances. Her current favourite approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Erin works collaboratively with clients, offering strategies, interventions, stories, and metaphors to support insight, coping, and meaningful change.

Erin has worked across a variety of settings, including multimodality clinics, headspace, alcohol and other drug services, school counselling, and bushfire recovery counselling. Outside of work, Erin is a proud dog-mum to three border collies, a lifelong Queen fan, a collector of rocks, crystals and shiny things, a keen snorkeller and bushwalker, and a Zelda player.

Clinical Experience and Areas of Focus

Erin works with patients 13 years and older. She has worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief and loss, drug and alcohol concerns, infertility and IVF-related stress, and psychosomatic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.
