HOME / WORK COVER & INSURANCE

Workers Compensation & Motor Vehicle Incident Counselling
Access professional online psychology services through your workplace injury or insurance claim.
Our telehealth psychologists specialise in supporting clients with workplace-related mental health issues, insurance-funded therapy and return-to-work pathways.

Who This Works For
You may be eligible for Work Cover or insurance-funded psychology sessions if you have:
-
A work-related injury, illness, or psychological condition that has occurred as a result of your employment, a workplace incident, or a road traffic accident.
-
A valid claim with your employer’s insurer, insurer’s approval and case-manager involved.
-
A referral from your GP, insurer, or case manager often specifying a psychologist or telehealth therapy.
-
Coverage by your insurer for psychological services or telehealth therapy.
How It Works
01
Secure your claim details
Please confirm with your employer, insurer, or case manager that psychological services are covered under your claim. If you are unsure, our team can contact your claims manager on your behalf to request approval for therapy.
03
Submit referral/approval documents
Provide the claim number, insurer’s approval and any required form or treatment plan.
05
Attend & recover
Your psychologist will deliver evidence-based therapy focused on psychological recovery, workplace adjustment, and return-to-work support.
02
Choose Tele-Psychs for your sessions
Our registered psychologists offer telehealth sessions across Australia — ideal for WorkCover, CTP, and insurance-funded psychology.
04
Book your session
We’ll coordinate with you, your case-manager and psychologist to schedule a suitable telehealth session.
06
Ongoing collaboration
We liaise with your case manager, insurer or employer if required, while maintaining clinical confidentiality and patient-centred care.
Important Conditions & Notes
-
Coverage and eligibility depend on your insurer’s approval and the details of your claim.
-
WorkCover, CTP or insurance-funded sessions require pre-approval; these cannot be self-referred.
-
If the insurer refuses or disallows psychological services, you may choose to switch to a private-pay/self-referral pathway.
-
Cancellation and no-show fees still apply and are not covered under your policy. If you cancel late or do not attend an approved session, the fee is payable by you, not your insurer.
