Kasey McMahon

Tele-Psych is owned and operated by Psychologist Kasey-Lee McMahon. Kasey is an AHPRA registered psychologist with experience working with clients across the lifespan within both Government and Private sectors of the community.

Kasey is passionate about working with individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals by using a person-centred, strengths-based approach in her telehealth psychology sessions. She believes compassion, collaboration, and a non-judgmental approach is important to the therapeutic alliance to achieve positive outcomes for patients.

Please be aware before booking your appointment;​​
1. Appointment Reminders:
You will receive an SMS and email notification 3 days prior to your appointment. Please reply "YES" or "NO" to confirm your appointment.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. You can notify us via SMS, email, or telephone.
3. Short-Notice Cancellations:
Cancellations made with less than 2 business days’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled fee.
Please note, that Medicare does not provide rebates for canceled or missed appointments, so you will be responsible for the full cancellation fee.
4. Same-Day Cancellations and No-Shows:
If you cancel on the day of your appointment or do not attend, you will be charged 70% of the scheduled fee.

5. Payment and Debt Collection:
Failure to pay the cancellation fee will result in an invoice with a 7-day due date.
If payment is not received by the due date, the invoice will be forwarded to debt collection services, which will attract additional administration fees.
Tele-Psych reserves the right to withhold further therapy sessions until all outstanding payments are received.​
6. Medicare Rebate:
Rebated Medicare sessions will have an out of pocket expense or gap fee. Please be aware that you must pay the full fee (including transaction fee) from your nominated debit/credit card before we can process your Medicare rebate of (General Psychologist) $96.65 or $141.85 (Clinical Psychologist). Additionally, the client must attend their therapy session to claim the medicare rebate.
7. Video Consultations:
Tele-Psych uses COVIU for all online consultations. To avoid delays please attempt to join your appointment at least 5 minutes before your appointment time. We recommend you perform a pre-test call to test your device. This will ensure that your video, audio and connection is working correctly. 8. Halaxy:
We use Halaxy for all of our bookings, financial transactions, and Medicare rebates processing.
